Dear YABC Community,
I have worked with the Washington Irving YABC Program since it opened it's door in September of 2005. I have a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. I enjoy working and assisting students to achieve their goals. I have a particular interest in higher education and know what it is like to be the first in a family to attend college. I am always available to talk to students about various things ranging from goal setting, college/career planning, SAT registration, assistance with housing, healthcare and other resources.
Remember that there are many individuals here to talk to about various situations which may prevent you from attending school, never feel like you are alone in this program.
My office is located on the 2nd floor in room 241, I can be reached at 212-674-5000 ext.2414 or 917-842-5416. Like my fellow FEGS staff members I hold a small caseload, for students whose last names start with the letters U to Z, I am your advisor in this program. Also, I am always downstairs when students come in to school from 4-4:30 pm.
Remember Success is always to be found on the other side of fear. So don't be afraid to succeed!
